Power washing, cleaning and sealing Decks for over seven years
Tri-County
It takes a steady hand and skill to power wash a deck without furring up wood fibers, or leaving lines and grooves in the wood which would be highly noticeable during and after sealing. We take great pride and care in power washing your valuable deck and its surroundings so this doesn't happen to yours, look below at the difference just power washing makes on this fence, but to keep it looking nice and fresh as long as possible you need to have a finish applied. Deck sealers come in many various colors, transparencies, sheens and type such as water based or oil.
We always use the best deck stain sealer we can buy, most stain manufacturers make different levels of quality or types of sealer, the two we prefer are Sikkens wood finishes and Defy Epoxy fortified sealer, the sikkens is an oil base stain in which you can choose between sheens, color and transparency's and depending on what type you choose determines how many coats your deck will receive and how often it should be re-coated. Defy Epoxy fortified stain on the other hand is water based and always receives two coats on horizontal wood and one coat on anything vertical and should be re-coated about every two to seven years depending on location of your deck to the elements, but most decks average about three years.

The key to a beautiful deck is the timely care of re-sealing decking materials. If you refinish it ever few years before the sealant fails you will be able to maintain a beautiful deck. If a deck is let go to long you will greatly diminish the life and overall beauty of your deck, which will also drive up the cost of restoration to your deck. |
