| Tongue and groove ceiling boards can be run (direction) in a few different ways. Parallel, perpendicular to, or in a diagonal fashion in regards to the room. There are two ways to install tongue and grooved boards to a ceiling, depending on the desired look and cost. The slightly higher cost but smooth finish is, boards are cut seamlessly to the wall edges giving a smooth gap-less view. The second way is to cut boards to fit but not exact, this process leaves gaps and is later covered by a boarder trim piece. |

| We use a blind-nail technique that hides all signs of nails, except the first and last set of boards. Typical boards are 5 1/2" wide and 3/4" thick, variations are available but at an added cost. All boards will be stained and sealed before installation, if not you will have lines during expansion and contraction in varying temps. |
